It wasn't obvious. You clearly stated what members concerns should be,
but maybe that's not what you meant.

I don't think people deserve coddling, but it does seem reasonable to
expect some kind of civility.

Everyone has their own reason for leaving. It would be unreasonable for
someone to demand that everyone like them, although no one has demanded
this that I know of.
