No group can function when any widely-held agreement is dismissed as
being the product of some nefarious "mob mentality." I find AdamC's
original comment and the conversation that followed to be tempered and
reasonable.

I am a member who dealt firsthand with ntk's recent lack of
availability-- more on that another time-- and now I am pretty soberly
assessing his ability to serve the coop now and in the future. I find
his defensiveness disappointing and too retrospective; we need to be
looking forward and fashioning solutions to past problems.

I see absolutely no proof that any of this is personal. We all like
ntk.

I am particularly grateful for all the work ntk did to incorporate us,
and getting our tax exemption. A few-- myself included-- never
followed-through with this, and ntk made it happen. He is one of the
few people without whom our coop wouldn't be nearly as sophisticated.

That said, his recent performance-- at least "flakiness," at most an
abdication of duties-- has been less than is needed for the coop to run
well.

However, this is all moot. We're not going to remove ntk with a 2/3
vote of the membership. He doesn't seem to want to resign, and at this
point that may not be the most useful course of action. Board
elections are months away. We may expand the board at some point, as
well, as we grow.

I like ntk a lot, but this recent lack of communication has indeed been
frustrating.
