OK, I hope it is making some sense. If not we'll get you up to speed, no
worries.
I made the mineral addition calculations and uploaded a new version of the
recipe to the wiki that has those listed (same link). The chalk addition is
pretty much a necessity, as it will greatly aid conversion efficiency, but
the salt addition is optional. I never added salt, and we enjoyed the
results, but I have wondered whether tipping the balance toward maltiness
might improve the flavor. I leave it at your feet to decide.
