[HCoop-Help] Kerberos, installing with Debian Lenny/Sid

It may be easier and faster to just find some cd's, install a current
Debian on another partition and debug any serial port/other problems
that show up. I've done "move to new partition and re-config."
If you've got the patience, ask for the other info that would lead to
the problem. I've got about 4 unused earlier linux distros installed
already. I can re-boot the non-connecting "3.1.9ubuntu7" and if I
haven't deleted the partition, re-boot the non-connecting sarge
install.
With my limited experience, I reviewed the logs, and found entries
like I've pasted in below. I could see only a possible module-missing
problem, or a motherboard problem
