You can google "accrual accounting" and "pay as you go" as
well. :) 

I'll try to find some references and send them to you
later.  

The coop board is striving to do everything correctly.  When I
became aware of the costs at the new provider which adamc had
been paying for all by himself, I had these questions.  I think
NTK answered them for me on this list a month ago.
