"Fairness" doesn't enter into the picture when people are deciding where 
to spend their money.  If a fee seems higher than the value that comes 
from paying it, then that's that.  Only a small portion of our 
membership has any interest in "cooperative values."

I've said this before, but it's probably worth repeating: PayPal's rates 
are the best we've been able to find for any payment service provider, 
period.  Probably almost every credit card transaction you participate 
in involves a provider that charges higher rates, unless the merchant 
processes significantly more money than we do.
