Perhaps, but I would just want to make sure that in the future (i.e.,
after the temporary dues stabilization period is over), we change from
having dues set to just cover operating costs to something that includes
a budget for repairs and upgrades. I would agree with your plan (except
for the rather trivial exception that I don't like the idea of
membership "shares", preferring "pledge amounts" or "one-time donations"
instead), if dues only drop to a certain point, and then level off to
include room for repairs and upgrades in the future.
Sorry if you explained this before, but I wanted to be perfectly clear
since I didn't see this explicitly written on the "experiment" page.
