When signing a list up for Gmane, there is an option that permits only
subscribers for the real mailing list to post to the list. We'd
probably want to enable that option if we decide to use Gmane.
If we're concerned about outside people being able to view the lists,
that would be a valid reason not to use Gmane, since all Gmane lists
are available to everyone who connects to Gmane.
