[Triangle-isoc] Updates

Hi All,

 A few updates:

 1) The kickoff meeting has already been planned and is basically going to
be an NC State event, so nothing is required from you guys. It is open to
the public and I would love for you all to attend:

on the NC State Centennial Campus

 There will be a presentation by myself, Paul Brigner (Regional Director of
the North American Bureau at the Internet Society) and a few other chapter
leaders.

 If you would still like to help with the organization just let me know,
but we should be good to go.

 2) The bylaws have been completed based on your suggestions and are
attached. We won’t vote on them until the first official chapter meeting
however. Just let me know if you see any issues.

 3) You may have noticed that there is now a regularly occurring meeting on
the meet up calendar. The second Saturday of every month, we will be
hosting a meeting at noon for the Internet Society at Splat Space. We are
currently looking at hosting meetings in other locations as well.

 Thank you all for your help so far! Your suggestions and support have been
very helpful and we are getting very close!

I’m looking forward to working with you guys once the chapter is up and
running. I hope to see you all at the meeting next month and please let me
know if you have any questions in the mean time.
