[StJamesPlace-steering] Neighborhoods Committee Meeting--Nov 17. 6pm, at the NEW EVA offices

We have been tasked by the board to determine which of the goals of
the strategic plan we believe we should take responsibility for.

The three goal areas are (1) Quality of Life and Community
Relationships, (2) Cohesive Buisness Development and (3) Capacity
Building and Resource Development.

Each of these goal areas have strategies for the coming years that
have been identified as ways to meet the goals.  I won't list every
strategy--only the ones that we might possibly consider for ourselves
(and I am keeping the list broad)

Under goal area one, which obviously has the most affinity with the
Neighborhoods Committee.
-Farmers Market
-Winter Events
-Organized litter pick up
-Public speaking
-Plan/Implement community service projects with schools
-Establish/Implement plan for playground (s)

Under area two we might consider:

-welcome outreach plan

Under area three, there really isn't much for us.
