Greetings,

Tomorrow's brew day is for the American Pale counterpart to last week's
English Pale. The recipe is posted on the wiki under mystery brew #2. We'll
also be bottling the English Pale and (at last!) Nowruz. I guess I should
wash some bottles tomorrow in the early AM ;-) I plan to be near the LHBS
around 10:30, and it will take me a little while to get the grain bill
together. Here's to not leaving it at the store again...and crushing the
correct amounts...

A couple of notes before we look at the recipe. It's a three-Cs hop profile
with some Biscuit for a bit of character. But to get that, with only half a
pound of specialty grains, we're going to try tweaking the mash.
WoooooOOOOOOoooo :) Our standard mash temp has been 154. But if we take it
up a couple degrees to 156, it will potentially yield slightly less
fermentable sugar and a little more body*, so that the Biscuit will come
through. I shall ask the American Brewmaster folks if I should take it up to
a full pound when I get there.

paragraph.
