Ok, I've refreshed my memory a bit:

1) Yes, databases are backed up with mysqldump/pg_dump, daily, and
the directory which is backed up itself contains 7 days worth of old
(redundant)mysql/pgsql backups (the 7 days period will shorten as
databases grow bigger, but for now we're fine with 7 days).

2) megacz or mwolson, what's our situation re. homedir backup? I've
browsed through /afs/hcoop.net/common/etc/scripts/*backup* and it seems
to me backups are done holding 'hcoop' tokens instead of
  'system:backup'?
