I never intended anyone to use those e-mails as a primary source; rather,
the different views provided by the portal are meant to be where you go to
look up old exchanges, with the e-mails just being notifications of
changes.  I always delete portal e-mails after handling them.

Specialized display on the portal is always going to have the potential to
be more convenient then generic display in SquirrelMail.  I would say it
would be more productive for you to suggest improvements to the portal's
views of support tickets.
