First, I stopped making any backups on Abu months ago, due to lack of 
space and lack of any off-server scheme that made sense given bandwidth 
costs.

Second, there backups were done using a few rsync calls that I wrote 
manually.  On fyodor, I'm using the rsnapshot package, which manages 
multiple backup images and rotation between them.
