I mentioned the LogOut placement as example of how a simple misplaced link can make poor page usability...On the current portal, which uses only left half of window, if the "Stat's/Puplic pgs/Misc/Other serv" groups were placed on right half, it would fit just fine on one page and would not, IMHO, be crowded at all. And if links were closer to text size as used on main Novell.com page (for example), they most certainly would fit on new portal and still be readable.

I would expect that that would lead to crowding.  Besides, we don't have 
a "log off" option. ;-)
